Silifke Municipality Medcem A.Ş. Aziz Sancar Science Center was established to enhance scientific awareness among young people and to provide a modern learning environment accessible to all segments of society. Aiming to make science both accessible and experiential, the center represents a significant social investment that contributes to strengthening the regional educational infrastructure.

Project Details:

Established by Medcem A.Ş. within the scope of the protocol signed on 24 July 2020, the Silifke Municipality Medcem A.Ş. Aziz Sancar Science Center was designed as a contemporary education and exploration space where young people can directly engage with science. Within the center, scientific project studies are carried out in classrooms and fully equipped laboratories, while courses focusing on space sciences and technology are delivered through hands-on learning approaches.

Designed to support students and young people in preparing for the future through modern educational tools, the center offers nearly 50 scientific installations and educational instruments across various fields, including a Mars surface and robot, Earth–Sun–Moon model, infinity corridor, space tent, balance tunnel, robotic applications, and electricity generation through water waves. These interactive setups enable participants to reinforce theoretical knowledge through direct experience.
