With the commissioning of its fifth paper plant in 2015 following an investment of 350 million Euros, Modern Karton has now an annual production capacity of 1.5 million and 50,000 tons.

Thanks to its expanded production capabilities, Modern Karton is now the leading manufacturer of corrugated paper in Türkiye and is among the largest in Europe.

With its production technology and automation system in its 181 thousand m2 enclosed facility built on a 508 thousand m2 open area, Modern Karton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is one of the most technologically advanced companies in the world in the paper industry. Modern Karton, the industry pioneer in Türkiye, makes almost all the country's corrugated paper exports by itself.

Planning to commission a new paper machine investment of 650,000 tons per year in the third quarter of 2024, Modern Karton will increase its yearly production capacity to about 2 million tons with PM6. This environmentally friendly production will further solidify its position among the largest in Europe in its sector and enhance its export contributions to the national economy.

With its 100% recycling rate, the facility saves 17 million trees per year from being felled.

This feature, along with a treatment system that costs $35 million, makes the company truly environmentally friendly.

With the goal of developing products and strategies that maximize its competitive strength, Modern Karton has expanded its presence on the global market.
