Eren Port Commissions a 100,000 TEU Capacity Container Berth

Eren Enerji has successfully completed a major investment strengthening the logistics infrastructure of Eren Port. With the commissioning of the new container berth with a capacity of 100,000 TEU, the port’s container handling capacity has been significantly increased.

As part of the investment, two high-capacity container cranes—each standing 65 meters tall and weighing 550 tons—were successfully installed at the port. In addition, the berth length was extended to 240 meters, while the berth capacity was increased to 40,000 DWT.

The new container berth welcomed its first vessel on November 15, 2025. From the first vessel call through the end of the year, a total of 2,406 TEU were handled, comprising 857 TEU discharged and 346 TEU loaded, marking a successful conclusion to 2025 from an operational standpoint.

With an annual handling capacity of 15 million tons of bulk cargo and 100,000 TEU of containers, Eren Port continues to advance its logistics capabilities and reinforce its strategic position in the sector.
