Modern Karton with its 400.000 tons additional capacity, which became operational in April 2008, increased its annual production capacity to 700.000 tons and it is one of the major manufacturers in the paper industry in Europe. Being the industry leader in Turkey, the Company realizes the total paper exports of Turkey almost single-handedly.

Operating in a facility of 540.000 m² open and 130.000 m² closed area, Modern Karton possesses the most advanced technologies in the paper industry due to its manufacturing technology and automation system.

The facility uses 100% recycleable paper in its production, as a result it is saving 4,5 million grown trees in a year. Due to these characteristics and its purification system which is worth 15 million $, the facility is strictly environment friendly.

 PM4: This machine has a production capacity of 400,000 tons per year, processing width of 7.8 metres and velocity of 1400 metres per minute.  Eren made an arrangement with Metso of Finland for this machine.  Purchasing negotiations for auxiliary facilities continues.
 
 PM3: With the renovation in progress, the machine's annual capacity is planned to be in-creased by 50,000 tons per year.
